Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Audio Engineer to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audio production, a keen ear for sound quality, and a passion for gaming and live events. As an Audio Engineer at Endless ERA Gaming, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest audio quality for live broadcasts, events, and content production.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and operate sound boards, mixing consoles, microphones, and other audio equipment for live and recorded events.
- Collaborate with the production team to design and implement sound plans for various gaming events and broadcasts.
- Monitor audio signals to ensure quality sound reproduction during live events.
- Troubleshoot and resolve audio issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to live broadcasts.
- Coordinate with talent, including commentators and hosts, to conduct sound checks and adjust levels as needed.
- Archive and manage audio files, ensuring organized and accessible storage.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest audio technology and trends in the gaming and broadcasting industries.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Audio Engineer or similar role in live event production or broadcasting.
- Proficient with digital and analog mixing consoles, microphones, signal processors, and audio editing software.
- Strong understanding of acoustics, sound reinforcement, and broadcasting standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure during live events.
- Detail-oriented with a critical ear for sound quality.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to cover live events.
- Passion for gaming and familiarity with the eSports industry is a plus.
